We're Back From Vacation.

         Kumusta Everyone! Excuse me for the lack of posts. To be honest, I have few posts that I left in my blog before I went my travel but it was an automatic. So, I won’t worried and thinking posting when where in the Philippines the connection of internet is really slow I don’t trust to download any things there and I don’t have patient dealing with hassle connection because I choose to spent my time with family and not the slow internet connection. I can even open my instagram and face book in couple days there and it was okay for me. Since, I did post automatic in my blog I am thankful that we can do in advance in blog sites. I’m currently backed in state from vacation in Philippines. I have many stories to shared to all of you guys about from travel but in the few night, I was still fully awake @ 5:50 am! Now, I haven’t good sleep. In the Philippines and State it’s 12 hours different. I know everyone knows about this or you can go search goggle if what time in Philippines and Arkansas State.  It is morning here in Arkansas state 5:52 am and Philippines is night 6:52 Pm. I am in my zombie mood from days now and I am dealing with the worst jetlag ever.  I don’t know if I can make it to work this week but maybe, I call in sick since my jet lag and I got a cold from flight. We also need to go dental appointment for my daughter, so lot’s going on after the vacation.

Home Decoration

My mother-in-law bought these flowers at Lowes. These flowers live longer. I remember we bought it since, December 2014 and now, still alive. But, leaves and flowers are almost gone.
 

My husband bought this pretty orchid last year. We were watering this plant in once a week by with measuring. So far, this flower still looks pretty in the living room.  

My sister-in-law and my brother-in-law sent this to my mother-in-law for Christmas gift. When they send package or present to Mom. My sister-in-law informs me all the time about the package on the way for my mother-in-law. So, I know first before her.

Once a year, I do like to decorate 12 fruits at the table. Meaning bring luck. I grown up with this a Filipino traditions

My husband is art professor. This ceramic cup is one of his made and family been loving using his stuff. They are so cute and pretty to decorate at home.

Mather Lodge State Park Arkansas

Here’s the front entrance of Mather Lodge restaurant in petit jean state park Arkansas. I been visiting several time in petit jean because it so close to drive from where we live at. I estimate about 40 to 1 hour drive but, I never been in Mather Lodge before. So, this is my very first experience. The restaurant food was fantastic and the view looks neat & clean.

We were thinking to go back there when it warm up little bit. I was spending inside the restaurant because for me, I was feel so cold and outside was windy. We walk and looked only inside the building. So, here’s the site if you are interesting: petitjeanstatepark.com

My family and I tried to go to visit the Rockefeller but unfortunately was closed. When you get into Rockefeller entrance. You can see the big water pond with goose. 

We stopped to the rock house cave trail. So beautiful and hiking trail is also nice but we didn’t stay long because my mother-in-law was there with us and we don’t want her to waiting for us for so long. We decide not to stay and the reason too is I don’t have a good lens with me so all the photos taken from my phone. 

Little Rock

Hi Love; I feel such excited writing this in my blog about what a wonderful weekend with us here in Arkansas. The weather was perfect. So, last Saturday we did a little trip to little rock with family. My husband had appointment to this art guy has interests of my husband piece sculpture that they want to put in the university art show.

We met the guy in person and he sounds nice. The building we were in is a lot of art, pottery and after they organize things we head out to the local Korean restaurant for lunch and of course, I don’t want to left little rock with out grocery in Asian store. So, here’s all what I got and spent $170 with 100 pounds of rice ad other items, such a fish, vegetable, noodle, blue crabs, sauce and many more…. Its been a while I haven’t shop Asian store I totally feel was in heaven and happy that hubby bought a tons of goodies for me.

We also were in hurry to get back home so husband can watch his football games. He did it make which is late a couple minutes. And, I cooked blue crabs for us dinner but only two person ate. It was daughter and I only ate crabs. Hot coco and cassava for snacks and baked smoked fish (Milkfish).

Top of the mountain
