A to Z Store

Hi Love! It’s been two weeks that we already went to the A to Z store. I don’t have time to seat in front of computer and writes about this little trip to there. But now, I have to give a couple minutes and shared to you guys!  My family and I had experience to explored of this huge store from home decoration, gift, floral arranging, tools, furniture and because where in fall they had a percent off for all fall decoration and even Christmas holiday stuff. So, amazing! The weather was beautiful sunny, too.

My Mother-in-law Garden! 2015

My Mother-in-law made the best jalapeno pepper stuffed ever. is one of our favorite appetizer all any occassion or event's. there's a tons of recipes online but, if i choose i would  have my mother-in-law recipes version of jalapeno stuffed. it so tasty and delicious, simple to make. of course, jalapeno is really fresh from her garden this year!. 

Another fresh waterlecious fruits. im really proud to tell the world my 81 years old Mother-in-law who been enjoying gardening. she planted it by the garage and close by the road. i know, many people drove and pass by, might some of them seeing it or some of them not notice.

I'm first person saw big watermelon one day   i tell my husband and mother-in-law about it and were started to counting them with the small. were more proud seeing  tiny watermelon.

My husband enjoyed his first pick watermelon from his mom garden. He was come home from work and said, I had picked watermelon! Were all thought watermelon looks ready to picked because they look big outside but inside of watermelon was not quite develop (still not all turning red).

We saw 3 more watermelon is getting so big. We decide to wait another week to picked since were disappoint from first one. But were all learned and see things awesome. 2 weeks after, I asked my mother-in-law if I can pick watermelon and she said, (when ever you want honey). I let my husband to pick in 2^nd time but he said it’s your turn. I did pick the smallest one compare to another watermelon because I know, this is the first watermelon I saw growing.

 Finally we did eat 3 watermelons from the garden. There’s more tiny one but I did clean them up because were know there is no time to growing. It’s getting colder outside.

I been harvests my mother-in-law okra while she’s 3 days gone to Virginia Beach. As in I harvest a lot everyday in summer. My mother-in-law got an okra plants from her Granddaughter Amy. She was planting during spring and I remember, the okra plant was little then were also gone about a month to visiting my family in Philippines. I was said; one month is was big change because it’s taller and more vegetable.

Cleaning Day!

Lots of laundries, bunch of trash scatter everywhere at the floor. I haven’t finish cleaning about 3 weeks in a row already because I was busy practiced dance, work and more activities going on of my daughter and me. So, I have to stop going party or else the house getting look ugly. At this fast couple weeks my daughter getting socialist! I mean she found few friends in our neighborhood that she can play with! They invite my daughter several time to sleep over during weekends. And of course, my husband and I agreed (it’s good for her to get along to anyone) I tried to organize and look neat our bedroom but there’s a times we can’t finish work in one day.

I like looking folding pants or clothes and organize them in one place. I tried to tech my 9 years old daughter how they fold things especially her own stuff in closet but she have her own version. So, I let her do it the way she wanted! She is good helper as long you tell her.

Labor Day food.

A bunch of food in holiday and event’s! My mother-in-law cooked this delicious food from the Labor Day. She cooked fried onion, fried okra. Okra is fresh from my mother-in-law own garden. This year been well having okra and harvest every other day. It’s really such a blessing to us.

More Flowers

I had loved taking picture to any natural beauty. My mother-in-law does planting a lot of flowers since we move this big house. I did plant few but most of them perennials which is I plant once then they come back every year. So, I don’t plant over and over. My mother-in-law is one of her hobby and favorite is planting and seeing the beauties of plants. They look worth it because they are so beautiful.

Two Balikbayan Box

Hi Love!

I finally have done to send my balickbayan box to the Philippines. I spent a couple months or a year to filling up the boxes. This time I send two boxes I normally send only one box at a time. Since were planning to go Philippines in this year. I decide two boxes for gift and stuff for family. I had been like this company and my Filipina friend who picked our box when ever were ready.

My Filipina friend had to go work last Friday but she often to inform me ahead, not to worry because her husband is one who going to picked our boxes. So, 1/15/2015 my boxes are already picked up and I feel free when two boxes are finish. I didn’t make it this month but they schedule my boxes to send it on February, I am now hoping that will be receive in time when I am in the Philippines.

When the husband of my Filipina friend picked our box. Our two girls had a chance to play each other. We spent talking a Filipino food; stories and experiences while the kid are playing. Plus my brother-in-law and step kid are visiting so, was a full house and were all sleep late.

One Day in december

Hi love!

It’s too much happening in one day here. I cooked a Filipino spaghetti sauce. Which is so easy to do if you have ingredients ready. I am so glad I have another sauce to make another batch since, everyone loves my spaghetti especially my daughter.

Nice to stayed at home. Nothing to be compare around with my loving family. My daughter is such a good girl and polite. My husband took a picture of our feet and he comment that my daughter and I had insactly the same size and she is only 8 years old. I believe my husband say’s because I did tries my daughter shoes and its feet really well.

My sister in-law lives in Virginia Beach and last Friday she told me. They had send a flowers for my mother-in-law Christmas gift and I been keeping secret about all weekend. When my mother-in-law receives I told her. I already know they sent you a flowers and I know it was from them. My mother-in-law thought I know in everything’s and I am a good to hide the secret that was my mother-in-law said to me. I have no idea why my sister in-law message me when they send her something. Just noticing it.

Christmas Stories and Santa.

Hi lovelies!

My step Daughter worked at the city library in Russellville. She talked to her grandma about it and my mother-in-law brought us there to listening Christmas stories and see Santa. My daughter was a hungry she don’t even had a time to get in the house because were little hurry to go make it in time and get a parking lot. But in the city library they have free cookies and milk. She still asking a real food but cookies and milk are help to hold up her hungry.

We were lining up to see Santa. My daughter asks me to go with her and get some picture of Santa. I cannot believe it’s happening to me but it surely did. My very first time to have a picture with Santa, ever! The Santa asks me what you wish for this Christmas? I was totally, feeling like a kid again but not really bad. Nice, to be pretend as a kids in a moment, lol.

Christmas Party

Hello Dear!

     Wow time passes really quickly huh?  Five more days till Christmas day I haven’t finish gift shopping yet. And so 2014 will go gone soon. We still have more events coming up and more interesting each day especially my daughter she can’t wait to open her gift. Well, everybody does we all wanted to have a gift even little.

     I went to my daughter Christmas party at her school yesterday. This year I am trying to go to her event as possible because of all this, I am thankful to God and I hope and wish I would able to have more time for my daughter activities.

The party was amazing because, there’s one grandma and few parents who helping and I am one of them. I was glad I did my best to show up at my daughter Christmas party for the first time. They have enough snacks to eat, games, goodies and crafted stuff. I didn’t talked to other parents and teacher because were kind of busy focusing to the kids. But, after the Christmas party my daughter asked if she could come go home with me (my mother). She was so happy when her teacher agrees.

She been asking me when we going to the McDonald restaurant again. I guess, kids favorite place because of the happy meal. I take her out early from her school yesterday for holiday reason. So, I take advantage with it and we able to go eat lunch together.  

Since every Friday is our schedule for mommy and daughter day. So, we hangout a little while in the McDonald restaurant then we shop couple of stuff in Tuesday morning and Walgreen.

     My husband and my mother-in-law went to the little rock and here what I got from my list. He went to the Asian store for me. He bought a lot of Filipino goodies.
